My Summary
My Summary's main application is the hour reporting. The view contains current week's days and reported hours. Hour reporting is based on projects and tasks. Each project can have subprojects and tasks which are set in the "Projects" section. Normally My Summary is the first page to display after successful log in. If user does not have access to the My Summary she is moved to some other section that is available for her.
Hour Reporting
Hour reporting can be done in two different ways.
- Select a task from the list by clicking on the name of the task.
Note: When reporting hours, the date fields represent the current day. - Select a task and date by clicking on a day on the task row.
Note: When reporting hours, the date fields have preset date according to the selection.

As the task is selected, the right side panel displays the reported hours of the selected task. The type field's text is displayed in black if the hours have been approved and the report cannot be changed anymore. The totals row displays the reported hours vs. target hours of the task. Click "Add work hours" to proceed to the hour reporting view.
- Select the type and fill in the fields. The action can be cancelled by clicking on the "X" marker in the top right corner of the pop-up window.
Note: The types are preset by the OpenPSA administrator. The pull-down selection after hours field is used to report possible overtime work and percentages are preset by the OpenPSA administrator. Minutes can be inserted by using decimal notation, i.e. 0.25 hours = 15 minutes or by using the colon notation 0:15, which the system internally converts to decimal. - Click "Save" to report hours.
